Thank you Dr. Seuss

Today we’re taking a short break from Feature Friday and sharing about one of my favorite creative individuals: Dr. Seuss!

Dr. Seuss has written 44 books about creative characters, as well as many cartoons and advertisements sharing his creativity and inspiring the world.  Seuss was passionate about things being different, about sharing positive messages and inspiring kids around the world to read.

In honor of his birthday, March 2, read Horton Hears a Who, The Lorax or any of his other fun books at your home or the local library!

You can also learn more about the creative genius of Dr. Seuss at Seussville where there are fun games, videos and lots of cool Seuss stuff.

What is your favorite Dr. Seuss book?  What inspires you as an individual about Dr. Seuss and his work? Share your inspirations below.

  1. I’ve been a big fan of Dr Seuss for over thirty years 🙂
I was at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure, today; they have a whole section devoted to Dr. Seuss! It was really fun to go on the rides and tour the attractions with my six year old son.

    • Hi Jason! That’s so awesome that Universal Studios recognized Dr. Seuss, and even cooler that you got to share Dr. Seuss with your son! Love that quote too! Thanks for sharing!
